Pgs. 324-Finish of The Perfect shot. (Read my first 4 posts to understand this one.) SPOILER!!

I have really liked this book. It is one of the most exciting books I've ever read. It is one of the most gory, intense situations I have ever read about. But I could not put the book down during the last major scene of the book, it was awesome.

Brian is arriving home from the outstanding game he had earlier that night. He was settling down getting ready for sleep with not a bad thought in his head. As he is getting ready to go to sleep he realizes his phone is in the hallway so he gets up to get it. He swears he hears footstep though and he soon hears yelling from his parents room. The next thing he know he sees the killer face to face, the murderer of the Daine family. Brian's dad comes into the hallway with a shotgun yelling get out of the way Brian!!! The killer gets shot by Brian's dad bet he is very much alive. Brian runs and reaches for the murderer's gun and he gets it, but the killer still has a spare gun in his jacket. Two gun fires go off at the same time, the killer dies instantly but the questioon is, where did Brian get hit. The ambulance comes to the house and Brian isnt sure if he is dead or not. Brian starts to have a feeling that he is starting to go to heaven but then the medical person said he was getting his blood pressure back, and it turns out Brian will live, with only a shot that knicked his lung . Brian has a lot of long months of rehabs before he can return to basketball. But Brian has decided to make the most of his life before he joins Amanda.
